Welcome to Art For Life (#Art4LifeTez) Open Call

A community driven opportunity on TEIA to raise Awareness on Blood Donation

Submissions open from June 14th to July 13th 
“Art for Life” is a creative movement using artistic expression to raise awareness for Blood Donation.
It connects education, creativity, and public engagement to transform awareness into action.
Blood donation is not only an act for others, it is an act of humanity toward ourselves.
Across the globe life circulates, the need is shared, the response is shared, the responsibility is shared.
Organized by @paraxenod, @CinziaGabrielPH with the valuable support of TEIA DAO and Tezos community members.
Core Purpose & Vision

The primary goal of this initiative is social impact through art

Specifically, it aims to:

  • – Raise awareness about the global need for blood donation
  • – Encourage artists to create meaningful, purpose-driven work
  • – Bridge the Tezos ecosystem with real-world institutions and audiences
  • – Demonstrate that NFTs can function as tools for awareness and public good and introduce digital art and WEB3 in a different approach
  • By grounding artistic production in a real-world humanitarian context, the event enables artworks to carry relevance beyond the digital space, potentially contributing to real-world campaigns.

HOW TO Participate

– THEME: Create artworks that raise awareness about blood donation, Works that speak to everyone.

Explore human stories, needs, raise empathy, and the power of giving.  The theme is related to the World blood donation day June 14th, and the purpose is to create artworks to raise awareness towards that purpose.

Please avoid NSFW and flashing hazard content

– SELECTION CRITERIA: works will be evaluated on relevance to the theme -importance of blood donation awareness, emotional impact, artistic quality, ability to communicate the message, and communicative clarity.
– JURY for Honorariums:  Curatorial team with Teia members on first round & community voting via Teia Poll second round (to vote you need to have TEIA token in wallet if you dont have contact @paraxenod and sent your long tez wallet address to her under the dedicated post or via DM)
– DEADLINE for submissions: July 13th 2026 at 12PM ET
 

– Voting period: July 14th – July 17th for the Teia curatory team / July 18 – July 21st Community Vote

– Honorarium recipients announcement: July 23rd, on X/Twitter

This opportunity is accepting works to raise awareness on Blood Donation, in collaboration with Teia. Submitting to this form does not guarantee selection. Limit one artwork per artist. Editions and price are free.
The event is titled ”Art For Life”! with the dedicated hashtag #Art4LifeTez, when minting and posting on social media.
Each artist can mint any size or file type. As this is a public event, we have requirements limiting NSFW and Photosensitive materials for this event for community and visitor safety, so keep this in mind when creating!
Please remember to use the hashtag (#Art4LifeTez) when minting, and as always a reminder to mint and list AKA #SwapOnTeia!
 
A dedicated page that will populate with all works minted with the hashtag #Art4LifeTez Art for Life on TEIA is going to host the works that will be submitted. https://art4life-gallery.teia.art/
Artworks will also be included in a PDF Catalogue and a dedicated Event page documenting the event which will be minted on Teia and made available for sale for a small fee directed towards the Teia Treasury for future efforts.
The deadline for submission of artworks is July 13th 2026 at 12PM ET, so please mark your calendars!

Blood Donation Inspiration Prompts

You do not need to follow any of these prompts. They are offered simply as starting points for reflection and creativity.

• Blood is one of the few things shared by every human being.

• A single donation can help multiple lives.

• Blood cannot be manufactured. It can only be given.

• Blood travels across borders, languages, cultures, and beliefs.

• What does it mean that life can be passed from one stranger to another?

• Red blood cells survive only about 42 days in storage. Platelets only 5–7 days. How might time, urgency, or renewal be explored visually?

• Somewhere in the world, someone is waiting for blood right now.

• Donation is an act of care performed without knowing who may receive it.

• What does solidarity look like?

• What does “shared humanity” look like?
