TTC Art Contezt: Guidelines & Contest Rules

TheTezosCommunity (TTC) is celebrating its 3rd Anniversary, and because good things come in thees, TTC will host three events for the whole community: a Treasure Hunt across Tezos, a Zealy XP Rush and an Art Contezt!

We invite you all to participate!

This document describes the official requirements and guidelines of the TTC Art Contezt.

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these contest rules. Violating any rule may eliminate participants’ eligibility. TTC has the right to disqualify any entrant at any time at its sole discretion.

 

Submission Guidelines: Eligibility & How to Enter

  1. Contest submissions open on May 5th, 2025, and close on May 22nd, 2025 at 23:59 UTC. Late submissions will not be considered. 
  2. The contest is open to all artists and Tezos/TTC enthusiasts.
  3. To be eligible all contestants must:
    1. Mint the artwork on any platform in the Tezos blockchain L1
    2. Mint three (3) editions maximum/nft
    3. Send at least one (1) edition to the Art Contezt Wallet: artcontezt.tez or tz1VWLWrANgALouVaGJoG5kEZQ8BuqRjnxJC
    4. Contestants are permitted to collaborate; however, only one (1) prize will be awarded regardless of group size.
  4. Maximum of three (3) submissions per person is acceptable, including collaborative artworks.
  5. Only the first three (3) submissions per person sent to the Art Contezt Wallet will be considered for community voting. 
  6. All artworks submitted for the Art Contezt must be original and be inspired by the contest theme “THREE”.
  7. All artworks submitted for the Art Contezt must be minted during the submission period.
  8. All artworks in the Art Contezt Wallet will be given to the community in TTC’s upcoming events and weekly activities and giveaways.

Intellectual Property

  1. Entrants affirm their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others or from previous designs, including their own, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
  2. If the winner is determined to have violated any rules they will be required to forfeit or return the prize, even if the determination is made after the prize has been awarded.

Contest Guidelines: Voting & Prizes

  1. Only the artworks sent to the Art Contezt Wallet will be accepted as submissions for the TTC Art Contezt.
  2. Eligible artworks will be displayed and up for community voting during five (5) days in TTC Hubpage https://thetezos.com/art-contezt
  3. Each Tezos address can vote only one time on each voting phase.
  4. All Tezonians will be able to vote in their three (3) favorite artworks, based on the art and the creator(s) interpretation of the Art Contezt theme “THREE”. 
    1. The ten (10) entries most voted by the community will go through to the final phase.
    2. Only one(1) artwork from each contestant will move to the final phase.
  5. The Art Contezt Jury, composed by the Tezos-warriors (the members holding The Untold Legend of Freya & Fenrir NFTs) and other invited Tezos OGs will judge the ten (10) finalist artworks on their visual appeal and adherence to the “THREE” concept prompting the contest and vote for their favorite submission.Jury votes will determine the winner and finalists order.
  6. Jury members can not vote for their own submissions.
  7. The winners of the Art Contezt will be announced on TTC X/Twitter and TTC’s discord on May 31st, 2025.
  8. The prizes will be in tezos ($XTZ) and sent to the top six (6) creators’ wallets the following week.
  9. The 1st prize is 200 tezos, the 2nd is 100 tezos, the 3rd is 50 tezos and the 4th-6th is 25 tezos.
  10. Special participation prize of 25 tezos will be raffled between all the addresses that voted during the public voting phase.

Disclaimer

  1. TTC reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest rules and award the prize by alternate means if fraud or technical failure is determined at any time by TTC, including after the submission window has closed.
